Prayer & Fasting 2014

O M to the G!

It’s Prayer and Fasting 2014. Our church do this every 1st week of the 1st month of the year.

For me, prayer and fasting is being refreshed over and over again with the presence of God. It is the time where you reconcile and renew your spirit. And for that, we are free from every bondages from the past, present, and the future.

Yesterday was our first day. We started a day early since we will be having our youth camp on the 16th of January #anothereventobeexcitedabout yes for that hashtag!

The first day was more of aligning your faith goals and believe for the impossible that can do this coming 2014. There are so many things that we want, we ask, we need, and we pray for. This is the year to believe and have faith that God will do the impossible. You gotta man up with that faith.
I’m all excited coz i already list down all my faith goals and bucket list for this year and can’t wait to tick all of em this coming 2015!

Today’s the second day. Alive and refreshed! Today’s topic was awakening the dead (not like left for dead or walking dead something), but more of that spirit in us that has been dead for some time now. Like meditating the word of God, i fully admit that i am do not regularly have my devotion and for that i truly repent. And my prayer is that may God awaken my spirit of connecting with Him everyday and always. I pray that His presence will always remind me to hunger for Him.

3 more days left, but I’m sure God is moving supernaturally even after this P&F.

I believe in Real Surrender, Real Expectation, and Real Transformation that’s gonna happen this year onwards!

Praise the Lord for His love endureth forever.

So this 2014, i decided to buy one cup of Starbucks every month (because i usually do it once a week :P). Apart from that, i’ll take a photo of each cup just to record on when will they spell my name correctly.

Here you go, my first cup and the adventure with it.

I was on my way to our meeting for #FreedomCamp2014 and the weather outside was extreme. I mean you don’t usually expect super cold winds and heavy in rain in Dubai, so yeah extreme. I decided then to stop by the cafe and order the usual, caramel macchiato.

So this guy asked for my name (MARJ), and put a smiley before it. :) #appreciatethelittlethings

Now off to our meeting, we’re getting there. God is so gracious for all the favors. To you all the glory, Big Man! Almost done with the game technicals/materials and voila! #8DaysToGo for our Freedom Camp! wuhooooooo.

Plus, i’m excited for #PrayerAndFasting2014 :)

Around the world in 4 hours.

Bonjour, we went to Global Village today. :) 

Today was a sweet reminder to always bring my power-bank with me wherever I go. Nevertheless, even if my phone was dying, i was able to take some pictures of countries that were inside. Heehee.

And inside China, i was able to buy a minion iPhone case. So cute! and there were so many cutipatootie stuffs. :”>

Jeremiah

Meditating the book of Jeremiah made me shed tears. I haven’t really pondered the word for some time, until tonight, and God exposed me some of his immense sayings.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,"declares the Lord,“ Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This is one of my treasured verses. Looking back from where I am right now, i was in the dark but God found me. He always look for me. I was becoming someone who I wasn’t because of extreme insecurities.  But hey, God’s plan is always good, pleasing, and perfect. I cling on that! :)

On the way to Dubai, I was sitting with a Filipina lady and she was like, “Neng, para kang si Yeng” (Dear, you look like Yeng.) 

I do get that a lot. I am overwhelmed and honored when people say that we kinda match in terms of fashion and likes.

Then i bought coffee before going to work.
